Pros and cons training mid TP vs Hi TP
Started By
Just curious whether people focus first on lower tp then hi TP OR vice versa, now as have a mix some of them pups from a breeding. Trying to think whom to keep vs sell, as well as which to train. High TP pups take long to max.

I do a little bit of both. :) I have a line of high TP dogs where I focus almost only on TP (without inbreeding) when making breeding pairs. I do some Pup Predictor tests, but even if they're yucky I tend to breed anyway. I keep the cutest pup out of the litter.

For some dogs to sell or just to breed for fun, I go for looks. I aim for 500-1500TP when breeding for looks. That way, if I really like a pup I can keep it and train it without the training taking months. I like breeding my customs a lot. :3

Asking also as I am just starting or feel just starting, have second litter and pups are great and high tp, which leads question. First litter tp was moderate 500+ TP

True, Tiger. That's usually about the same for me, as long as the dog is maxed (and doesn't have like 17tp) then I go for looks.

w/in a litter of pups i always look at looks over TP. Since i only breed maxed dogs all my pups in any one litter are all around the same amount.

Thanks Kat I lean that way but seems like it takes forever even with help from halfway magical food bowl, wish those things worked a few times. (for multiple dogs.)
